Corfe Castle this morning.
Conditions looked good for a misty sunrise, and after waiting an hour the mist cleared enough to get views of the castle with some blanket mist around it.
Sometimes things don’t go your way.
I had visions of a great misty sunrise the other day as I headed out but was greeted with a gloomy, overcast morning.
Determined to get at least one photo out of my outing I headed down to Kimmeridge and went for some close-up misty wave action as it seemed to fit the conditions.
It’s good to experiment with different styles and techniques every now and then to push yourself and find new creative angles.
I like the minimalist nature of this shot and the motion blur gives the photo movement whilst the pole stands firm.
